
For 55 Years, the Black Caucus of the American Library Association Inc. has continued to execute the mission & purpose to serve as an advocate for the development, promotion, and improvement of library services and resources for the nation’s African American community and provides leadership for the recruitment and professional development of African American librarians.
On June 27, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the African American Museum of Philadelphia, BCALA will host an evening highlighting us Honoring Our Legacy & Shaping Our Future—a black-and-gold-themed celebration featuring fun, food, and fellowship with our members, partners, and supporters.
