CULTURE KEEPERS VIII:

CHALLENGES OF THE 21ST CENTURY — EMPOWERING PEOPLE, CHANGING LIVES

This conference will be located in a historic area near the Ohio River. To honor th epast, we will have our opening receiption at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, OH. Attendees will have a great opportunity to connect with the area's rich slave history.

Conference activities will include stimulating speakers, knowledgeable authors, sponsored sessions on health and wellness, and other informative workshops focused on Leadership and Management; Innovation and Creativity; Diversity and Cultural Heritage; Advocacy, Outreach, and Community Engagement; Collections; Programs; and, Services for all library types including HBCU's and 1890 land-grant libraries.
