2006 E.J. Josey Scholarship Award

The E. J. Josey Scholarship Award Committee is pleased to announce the 2006 award recipients. The recipients are Angela Brooks, University of Tennessee at Knoxville School of Information Sciences and Tamitra Rose, North Carolina Central University, School of Library and Information Science. Please join us in congratulating these future librarians for their fine work. Essays were selected on the basis of argument development, critical analysis, conciseness, creativity/originality, and clarity/grammar usage.
The committee thanks all of the essayist for their submissions and their enthusiastic interest in the activities of the Black Caucus of the American Library Association. Essays will be shared with the BCALA membership in an upcoming issue of the BCALA Newsletter.
